Robyn Soars Sky High Performing At JetBlue’s Terminal 5

Carry-on? Check. Boarding pass? Check. Performance by the most killingest pop star on the planet? Bonus! Lucky, lucky travelers flying in or out of New York City’s JFK Airport yesterday were treated to the one and only Robyn performing for passengers and contest winners at JetBlue’s Terminal 5! Of course, Idolator was front and center to hang with one of our very favorite artists as she performed a six-song set comprised of perfect pop hits from her 2005 self-titled LP and last year’s impressive Body Talk (one of our 2010 faves). Make sure your seat is in the upright and locked position, then head over to Idolator to find out what went down at the show.

Join Idolator At Our Strike Me Down Showcase At Northside Fest

All kinds of music fans are welcome on our humble site, but Idolator stands for the idea that pop deserves its own lane. And that’s why we’re thrilled to invite the music faithful to our show at this year’s Northside festival, a four-day spectacle of music, film and more, skillfully curated by The L magazine. Idolator’s official Strike Me Down show will get rolling at 10:30 p.m. on Friday, June 17 at the Brooklyn Bowl complex at 61 Wythe Ave in Brooklyn, NY.
We hope you have a ball — in fact, we know you will, because we’ve booked an incredible lineup: Danish electro-pop songstress Oh Land (catch her before she goes on tour with Katy Perry!); Baltimore rap/dance sensation Rye Rye; and Brooklyn/Birmingham dance-rockersDeluka, fronted by the stylish electro-punk Ellie Innocenti. If you’re feeling baller, check for details on how to score free tickets here!
Kesha song featuring B.O.B.

Glitter gun enthusiast Ke$ha may have a Top 10 hit on her hands with current single “Blow,”but apparently B.o.B thought the dance-pop cut need one more person in the mix. (Hey, the song already has six songwriters and four producers on its jam-packed credits — why not make it an all-out party by adding more folks?) Hear the Atlanta rapper’s inserted rhyme on “Blow” below.
Pop divas getting an all-star remix of their latest pop jam is the trend du jour (see Rihanna and Britney Spears’ “S&M,” Britney, Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj’s “Till The World Ends,” etc.) And B.o.B even makes a sly reference to Katy Perry and Kanye West’s recent chart-topping smash “E.T.”
“Night starts out at the ATM, probably won’t end till 8 a.m. / Yeah, I’m an ATLien, an extraterrestrial obsessed with a vegetable,” he raps in the “Blow” intro.

Lupe Fiasco Gets Political In “Words I Never Said” Video Preview
Lupe Fiasco isn’t afraid to show off his political side (is he ever?) in the video for “Words I Never Said”, the Alex Da Kid-produced, Skylar Grey-featuring second single off of Lasers. In the video’s preview, the rapper plays liberator while breaking captured soldiers out of prison. “There’s fight scenes and a whole lot of action,” Says Lupe to Rap-Up. “At the end, I get the girl, so that’s all that counts.” Is the girl Skylar Grey, perchance? We’ll have to wait and see. Preview the action-heavy clip below.

Watch Adam Lambert And Nikka Costa Scream Out A New Jam

Glam shock rocker Adam Lambert sat down with singer-songwriter Nikka Costa for her Nikka’s Box video series recently, and the two took part in a little jam session. Somehow, though, we knew Adam wouldn’t be able to resist belting out some of his trademark yowls during their brief one-on-one. Luckily, Nikki’s lungs are just as powerful. Watch this wailing pair shatter glass with their God-given talents below.

Adele Pays Compliments To Katy Perry And Lady Gaga’s Boobs In ‘Rolling Stone’

Adele looks absolutely stunning on the cover of this month’s Rolling Stone, but the Brit singer — who just scored her fourth week at the top of the charts here in the U.S. — isn’t that interested in focusing on her physical attributes. “My life is full of drama and I won’t have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like,” she tells the music mag, though shedoes have an appreciation for other pop star bodies: “I love seeing Lady Gaga’s boobs and bum. I love seeing Katy Perry’s boobs and bum. Love it. But that’s not what my music is about. I don’t make music for eyes. I make music for ears.” [Rolling Stone]
