Beyonce killed it not once but twice on American Idol last night, and if you had any doubts that Bey’s vocal theatrics are somehow manufactured in a studio or aided by fancy theatrics, Jay-Z  quells all doubts. Hova secretly taped his missus rehearsing her new ballad “1 +1″ backstage at the Nokia Theater before performing during the Idol finale, and it’s a dress rehearsal worth watching.

With both American Idol and Glee wrapping up their current seasons this week, Fox is going to be one less musical network in the summer months ahead. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves! We’ve still got tomorrow’s Season 2 wrap-up of Glee.
